For more than 20 years — as organizational strategist, university and medical school educator, and as an ICF ACC certified coach — Greg has skillfully and compassionately equipped executive leaders in high impact organizations to make powerful shifts as they (re)claim their innate resources. These re-invoigorated leaders consistently build strengths-infused leadership and launch “next” action as they confidently navigate dynamic opportunities and ever-evolving challenges
of optimal leadership, life, and enterprise.
Certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and trained through the George Mason University Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being program Greg deftly integrates the art, science, and business of leadership development and well-being throughout every coaching moment.
From C-Suite and Senior Executives to High Potential, Mid-Career, and Succession Candidates — Greg’s clients have grown as leaders and change agents within demanding national and international environments including Freddie Mac, Conservation Legacy, The Global Alliance for Arts and Health, IONA Center Scotland, Kripalu Center, National Center for Creative Aging, US Bureau of Land Management (USBLM), US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), US Department of Homeland Security (OBIM), US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and the Washington National Cathedral.
Dr. Finch’s university adjunct appointments — GWU School of Medicine, GMU Center for the Advancement of Well-Being, and Georgetown School of Theology — bring evidence-based rigor, vibrant curiosity, and experienced pragmatism to every client. Leveraging his grounded psychosocial expertise in strengths-based leadership, career assessment and advancement, individual and systems transition, cross-cultural and somatic communication, and optimal resilience — Greg accompanies every client with exceptional intuition and unwavering support as they forge potential into remarkable impact.
Greg holds his doctorate in Biomedicine and Aesthetics alongside degrees and certifications in Architecture, Arts Management, and Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, Wesley Theological Seminary, The American University, and Texas A&M University, and was an Associate Fellow of the George Washington Institute for Spirituality and Health, and provides coaching for veterans and their families through the nonprofit organization Stand Beside Them.
Having lived on both coasts— with stops including Washington DC, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Princeton, and Harpers Ferry — Greg cycles, zumbas, yogas, kayaks, choruses, and photographs his way around this great big world from his home base in the sky overlooking Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
